For quite some time we have been informed that all fats are bad fats and that if you consume fats you are going to ruin your heart and you will also become fat and overweight. Modern research has however found that this is not exactly the truth.
The truth of the fact is that fat can be either good or it can be bad. This is because different fats do different things to your body and in some cases they can harm your body while in other cases they can do just the opposite.
One of the reasons why people fear fats is because there is a fear about what the effects of fat consumption are. The reality of it is that unless you are well informed and you make the right choices you can easily eat the wrong fats that will harm your health.
It is also not a good idea to completely eliminate fat from your diet as this is a step in the wrong direction and it can in fact lead to certain health concerns that could have been avoided by consuming the right amount and types of fats.
