Build Muscle To Lose Fat

The easiest way for men and women alike is to lose fat by building up their muscle mass. It is easier to burn those unwanted calories, that put on the fat, with muscles that use up those extra calories. Build muscle to lose fat and have a healthier body.

Building muscle is easier said than done though. It requires finding a hobby that is going to exert your body enough to build up your muscles and at the same time, enjoy yourself. The process of building muscle is basically ripping and scarring the muscle tissue that heals up larger.

It is important for you to enjoy yourself for the long term commitment. Find a friend or partner that will work with you and in this way you can encourage each other gradually. Start off with beginner strength exercises and work your way up so that you do not hurt yourself in the process. After the strength exercises you should do thirty minutes of cardio exercises but try not to overexert yourself at first or you will be sore and want to give up.

Your diet is also imperative to look at when you want to build muscle to lose fat. Include a diet that a balance of protein, fat, veggies, fruit, water and whole grain foods. One gram of protein is recommended to get those muscles building up faster. Also recommended is lots of water, at least one liter per one thousand calories that you burn. Avoid processed and boxed foods, they tend to contain more sodium and unnecessary fats that are not as healthy as the natural fats that are necessary and found in fish oil and olive oil.

The easiest way to build muscle and lose fat is to make it fun and keep track of your progress. Keep a positive attitude. It will not happen over night, so try to keep an open mind. Take before and after pictures. Take pictures of yourself every four weeks to see the progress, this will inevitably encourage you to keep at it. Be aware of your health improvements, that alone is encouraging to see. When you feel better health wise, you feel better mentally.

    Well this is interesting. Who would have thought that my boyfriend could be right, lol, he is always telling me to bulk up a bit to help me lose weight, I guess that actually is some truth to that.
